This project allowed us to showcase the originality of this 140-year-old Toi Toi homestead. We used a combination of new and recycled materials to maintain the character of the original design, while bringing the quality of finish up to today’s standard.
This renovation utilised the existing skirting and scotia as well as a beautiful new recycled rimu floor. We completely rebuilt the subfloor structure so it is now as solid as a rock.
New features included bespoke timber French doors with sash window frames and Casey’s Joinery created a beautifully unique resin benchtop for the kitchen.
